Dawngate, developed by Waystone Games and published by EA, was a MOBA game which never saw any gameplay. Rumours of the game started buzzing around April of 2013 and a game beta was launched around a year later. However, the beta drew disappointment from gamers and the game was fully shut down in 2015. From what we saw of the game, it is a typical 5v5 MOBA, with two lanes (in contrast to the typical three) where the player assumes the role of a “shaper”. As in other MOBAs, there were minions, a jungle and different game characters. The four playable roles were: Gladiator, Tactician, Hunter, and Predator.
