Hello Neighbor download
Hello Neighbor is a stealthy survival horror video game developed by Dynamic Pixels and published by tinyBuild, released on December 8, 2017 on Microsoft Windows and Xbox One, on March 9, 2018 on PlayStation 4 and on July 27, 2018 on Nintendo Switch, IOS and Android.
What’s up with the “neighbor”?
The goal of the game is for the player to reach the neighbor’s basement to discover a hidden, “awful’ secret. This neighbor is doing some creepy stuff hidden from the neighborhood. You play as a kid on the block, that must uncover the neigbor’s dark plans. The game’s AI modifies the behavior of the neighbor, according to the previous actions of the player. The game has falling damage, but no drowning. Thus, in case of a fall from too high a height, the character will die, but not in case of a prolonged passage under the water. Hello Neighbor also has a day / night cycle. If the main enemy of the game (the neighbor) catches you, you will be teleported to its place of initial appearance, and the day and night will be reversed (for a capturing during the day, the game will continue at night; for a capturing during the night, you wll continue playing in the day).
Hello, neighbor! and its many versions
When creating the game, it was initially set to be called Hello, Neighbor! but the comma and the exclamation point had to be deleted. Like many games, Hello Neighbor had quite a slow development. The first alpha version of the game was released in October 26, 2016, the second alpha in November 22, 2016, the third in December 22 and the final release on May 4, 2017. It is during this alpha that the logo was created , with the “O” of Hello in the form of Lock and the “o” of Neighbor in the form of a key, as well as the levels of fear and the system of play skills. The first beta version of Hello Neighbor was released on June 26, 2017 because the engine has undergone an update. The second beta came out shortly after and fixed many of the previous problems, such as buggy AI behavior and texture bugs. The last beta was created solely to replace the final game version that was set to be released in August. Following August 14th, the game’s puzzles were changed, the intelligence of the neighbor improved and the basement had undergone some changes. Objects, gameplay, textures, and puzzles have changed repeatedly throughout the game’s development.
